Story
The song opens with a lively scene of a beloved waving from a window: “She waves from the window (little love, little bird), her brows beckon me (my lovely Münire).” Naming the beloved directly — Münire — gives the song a warm, personal touch, while the refrain “mini yar mini kuş” (little love, little bird) is an affectionate turn of phrase typical of the local dialect.

The source singer is Rıfat Özsaraç; it was collected and set to notation by Ali Canlı, with a collection date of 7 April 1951.
