Çorum and its districts carry a dense architectural heritage stretching from the Danishmendid and Seljuk periods to the last century of the Ottoman era. The mosques and baths of İskilip and Osmancık, the Sinan Pasha Complex in Kargı, the madrasas of Alaca, the clock tower in the provincial centre and the traditional Çorum houses are its main stops.
